Chocolate Orange Truffle Cake

For Chocolate Sponge

  • 500g Chocolate Sponge (8inches)

 

For Orange Truffle Mousse

  • 250g Rich’s Chocolate Whip Topping
  • 10g Orange zest
  • 100g Rich’s Truffle base
  • 100g Dark Chocolate

 

For Blast Effect

  • 10g Rich’s white Nugel
  • 2ml Edible food grade Orange colour

Truffle

  • In a medium pan take Rich’s Truffle base and orange zest
  • Boil for few minutes. Stir continuously
  • Pour boiling truffle base over dark chocolate
  • Stir until chocolate melts completely & strain
  • Allow to cool & set

 

Assembling

  • Whip Rich’s Chocolate whip topping until peak consistency
  • Mix 100gm of orange flavored truffle with whipped chocolate whip topping
  • Finish cake with orange flavored chocolate whip topping and refrigerate for 30mins
  • Pour remaining orange flavored chocolate glaze on cake
  • Give blast effect using Rich’s White Nugel & orange colour
  • Serve cold
