Reigniting Lives

“If there be any truer measure of a man than by what he does, it must be by what he gives.” And what better a gift there can be than our precious time. Our Pune Plant Associates did exactly this and spent their Diwali with the elderly members of the ‘Sant Baba Moni Anand Ashram’ Old Age Home.

The festivities began with decorating the entire Ashram with lanterns, candles and balloons, followed by cake cutting and a musical entertainment program. Everybody participated in the celebrations – they sang and even shook a leg with our team. The evening ended on a high note with the residents sharing their experiences over a scrumptious dinner.

It also came to our notice that a broken-down elevator was a pain point since many of the elderly members found it difficult to climb stairs and hence Rich’s has taken the mantle to get it repaired for good. With winters eminent, another team of our associates made a voluntary contribution of warm bedding for the resident members.
